The story behind the next cut
A small idea became something worth sharing. Here is what changed, what we learned, and where the work goes next.
What it does in Heavenly
The blog you name is the one that posts.
Connect the access token and the exact blog hostname.
Hashtags go where Tumblr searches them.
Heavenly sends supported hashtags in the tags field while preserving the caption.
The limits, before you hit them.
Review the supported JPEG and text formats before scheduling.
About Tumblr
What is Tumblr?
Tumblr brings art, writing, fandom, and niche communities together through blogs, reblogs, and tags.
What does Heavenly send to Tumblr?
Text, an optional title, and JPEG images. The title publishes as a heading above the caption. Hashtags made of letters, numbers, and underscores become up to twenty tags. Video and GIFs are refused, and each JPEG is uploaded to Tumblr with the post.
How do you connect Tumblr?
Paste a Tumblr access token and the blog hostname, such as yourblog.tumblr.com. Heavenly asks Tumblr whether that hostname is a blog on the credential, then keeps the hostname with the draft.
Who is Tumblr useful for?
Creative communities, fandoms, artists, and readers following blogs and discovering tagged posts.
Why use Tumblr with Heavenly?
Keep the chosen blog active with planned text and JPEG posts, with the tags carried into Tumblr’s own field.
How do hashtags become Tumblr tags?
Heavenly reads hashtags in the caption, or tags you set on the post, and sends the first twenty in Tumblr's tags field. A space ends a hashtag. The caption is published as you wrote it.

Earn on this platform
How earning works on Tumblr
How do you earn on Tumblr?
Earn through commissions, your shop, or an external membership. Blog views have no standard payout; Post+ has ended. Example: 5 commissions × $40 = $200 gross before fees and costs.
Follow these steps
Build around a recognizable interest
Publish original art, writing, or other work and use relevant tags to help the right community find it.
Make your offer visible
Link your commission page, shop, or membership from your blog and explain what people can buy.
Set the terms
Publish prices, delivery times, and the rights a buyer receives; disclose sponsored or affiliate posts.
Track completed purchases
Use your checkout or membership dashboard for income and fees. Reblogs and views help discovery but are not paid orders.
Receive your payment
Confirm the commission or shop order, deliver the work, and check fees, refunds, and payout status in your payment service.
USD examples illustrate gross revenue, not promised earnings. Fees, eligibility, and payout terms vary by account and country. Payments come from the platform or your customer, not Heavenly.
